Superior Bedrooms

Beautifully spacious rooms located over the three floors of the house – Buttermere is on the ground floor and most suitable for people with limited mobility. Superior rooms have views of the lake or our gardens.

TV and radio

Each room has a flatscreen Tv, and a Roberts DAB radio.

Complimentary refreshments

Tea and coffee making facilities, a Nespresso machine, and fresh milk; plus home made shortbread biscuits. All refreshed every day.

Bathroom facilities

Bath House toiletries (made in Cumbria), fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Included with your room

A 2 course breakfast every morning of your stay. Wifi, and private off-road parking.

Superior Rooms

Haweswater

A warmly decorated second floor room with panoramic landscape views. The 6 foot wide bed can be arranged as 2 singles. The ensuite has a walk-in shower.

Rydal

Tucked into the eaves, dual aspect with views over the gardens to distant fell. There’s room for a sofa, and the ensuite has a power shower over the bath.

Thirlmere

A restful room with views over Windermere towards the Coniston mountains; this has a 5 foot bed. The ensuite has a walk-in shower.

Buttermere

A large, elegant room on the ground floor, suitable for guests with limited mobility; facing out onto evergreen laurels. There is a large walk in shower.

Lindeth

A spacious first floor room with a huge 6 foot bed that can be twinned, looking out over the gardens. The ensuite has a large walk-in shower.

Ennerdale

A first floor room with a country house feel, enjoying views west from a comfy sofa. The bathroom has a power shower over the bath.


Frequently asked questions

  1. Are the rooms family friendly?

    None of the bedrooms accommodate extra beds, children over 12 are welcome but will require separate rooms. There are 2 single bedrooms.

  2. Can these rooms be available with twin beds?

    Haweswater, Rydal, and Lindeth can be arranged with two single beds.

  3. What floors are these rooms on?

    Buttermere is on the ground floor; Thirlmere, Lindeth, and Ennerdale are on the first floor; Rydal and Haweswater are on the second.

  4. Is there a lift at Lindeth Fell?

    There is not a lift at Lindeth, however we are happy to help you with your luggage.

  5. Do you provide room service?

    We do, with a charge of £5 per tray.

  6. Are pets allowed?

    Regretfully pets are not allowed at Lindeth Fell but we do accept registered Guide Dogs.
